Why Road Groups?

Road Groups are one of the primary ways we live out biblical community at Restoration Road Church.

Why biblical community?

As followers of Jesus, we are called to live in community with other believers. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are restored to God the Father and we are restored to other believers, who are our brothers and sisters in Christ. As we have been adopted into the family of God, we are called to live in right relationship with our family as we enjoy unity with Jesus.

What is a Road Group?

Road Groups are where we gather in small groups during the week to enjoy fellowship, encourage one another and grow together in Jesus Christ. Each group is made up of 6-15 people that exists as a catalyst for biblical community. Our groups create regular space whereby members know, love, and serve one another as they do life as the church and go on Jesus’ mission to Snohomish County.

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25ESV)

What do we do together in groups?

Eat Together. Learn Together. Pray Together. The average group will spend regular, intentional time eating together, getting to know each other, praying for one another, and creating space to do life together. The group will be facilitated by a Road Group leader. We eat together, spend time studying God’s Word and we pray together. Our groups also provide opportunities whereby members can provide practical care for other members as needs arise.
