Sanctification 101

There is a war being waged in the church, between Christians, over this word: SANCTIFICATION. There are different battles. Some call it grace versus works, others call it identity versus activity, and still others describe it as living in Christ versus living like Christ. Attempts to navigate this tension has resulted in basically two camps best represented by two books: Jesus + Nothing = Everything by Tullian Tchividjian & Hole in Our Holiness by Kevin DeYoung Whether you have read either of those books is unimportant. What is important is that you understand what it means to be in Christ and how we grow in Christ-likeness.
