Discipleship & Biblical Training

Our desire is to be people who are shaped by God’s Word and formed into the image of Jesus. To that end, our Equip ministry focuses on teaching God’s Word and training believers to carry out the ministry of the Word. We accomplish this through one on one discipleship, small group discipleship, classes and seminars.

Each quarter we will offer a variety of classes designed to help us grow in our knowledge and understanding of the Lord as well to help us apply the gospel to our hearts and live. Classes are open to all men and women who have completed our Road 101 class. Our Winter 2020 classes will begin Wednesday January 15th and registration is required. Register today using the links below.

For our students grades 6-8, we also have Westbound on Wednesday evenings. During this time–in addition to having fun with the students–our teaching time will cover a range of topics including the gospel, discipleship, apologetics, church and mission.

Men’s and women’s’ groups will also meet regularly to work through applying God’s word to our hearts and lives. See the quarterly schedule for details.

Discipleship 101: Helping People Follow JesusBefore he ascended into heaven Jesus commanded his disciples, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” We refer to this passage as the Great Commission and every Christian is responsible to do the work of the Great Commission. In light of this we will use this 9-week course to study the theme of discipling. We will learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how to help others grow as disciples of Jesus.
