A CITIZEN is a person who legally belongs to a country and has the rights and protection of that country. Citizens adopt the culture and practices of the nation, or kingdom, to which they belong. Where you come from is one of the most significant things about you. It forms your worldview, shapes your perspectives, dictates your opportunities, and plays a major part in your identity. Every human being is born into the kingdom of this world as children of wrath living under a regime of darkness. Naturally, we grow up adopting the ways of a fallen culture, following the course of this world led by the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that leads to disobedience. In this kingdom we are not free, but slaves, blinded by the “god of this world”. But God, by grace, frees us, giving us eyes to see and ears to hear
