Psalms: Into His Presence

The book of Psalms is divided into 5 books (Ps 1-41, 42-72, 73-89, 90-106, 107-150). Our series will include Psalms from each of the five books and cover a variety of sub-genres, including wisdom, royal, lament, thanksgiving, and praise. The Psalms provide a tremendous resource for us to draw near to God. We all experience a wide range of emotions as we face the ups and downs of living in a fallen world, reflected in this wonderful book's prayers and songs. The Psalms not only reflect a wide range of human emotions but are meant to shape our emotions, affections, and attitudes as we humble ourselves in the presence of the one true, living God.
