The Acts of the Apostles is the first history of Christianity; Acts is the first defense of Christianity; but most importantly, Acts is the first witness to the first witnesses for Christianity. The Acts of the Apostles is the definitive historical account of how the first believers understood the mission that Jesus’ left them on earth to fulfill. It is the first witness to how men and women lived and even died in obedience to Jesus’ command to make disciples.
