Mark 2.13-3.6 | Safe but not Saved

A majority of people say they KNOW JESUS even though most of them DON’T KNOW who he actually is or what He has done.  Perhaps proclaiming Jesus is no longer offensive because the Jesus being preached is no longer Jesus. The Jesus of the gospels is both inviting and offensive.  There was no one who ever encountered Jesus was simply said…meh.  This morning’s text is found in Mark chapter three beginning in verse 7.  This portion of this gospel functions like a summary of all of the different kinds of responses to Jesus from the crowds, the core, and the critics.
