This a There is a war being waged in the church, between Christians, over this word: SANCTIFICATION. There are different battles. Some call it grace versus works, others call it identity versus activity, and still others describe it as living in Christ versus living like Christ. Attempts to navigate this tension has resulted in basically two camps with their pastors, authors, and bloggers.

This short series is an attempt to navigate this tension by defining our terms. NOT ALL SANCTIFICATION IS THE SAME. In the end, our hope is that Jesus is displayed as even more glorious and that we understand, a little bit better, the relationship between belief and behavior.
